Dynamic Boost Hybrid
Heater technology changed forever
Heating only OR heating + light cooling
- Efficient and effortless heating with the lowest water temperature
- Energy-efficient non-condensing cooling in combination with any heat pump that can supply cooling water
- Improves the seasonal efficiency of a heat pump
- Helps condensing boilers operate at their lowest temperature and as efficiently as possible
Ideal for renovations and switching to a lower water temperature
…no larger radiators required
The lower the water temperature, the less heat the radiator can emit. This usually means much larger radiators are needed when you switch to a heat pump. But that’s not the case with Jaga’s Hybrid radiators.
The DBH system provides additional power to increase heat output, so you can now switch to a much lower water temperature with radiators of similar dimensions to your original steel panels. That’s why Jaga’s Hybrid radiators are the perfect heat pump partner.
Noise and power according to the latest European standards
The heat output of the Strada Hybrid was measured according to the latest European standards for heating units with integrated fans. Jaga was one of the first to comply with the reference standard EN16430.
Multifunctional intelligence: DBH can switch automatically between heating and cooling
Heating
Cooling
Breeze
There are three alternative configurations set at time of order:
Auto-changeover configuration (ACO)
Thanks to its accurate room and water temperature sensors, the DBH system can be fully automated in ACO mode, so you don’t need to do anything to switch between heating and cooling. To achieve the requested temperature you can set 3 different fan speeds, depending on the room where the heating unit is located: bedroom mode max. 26 dB(A), comfort mode max. 30 dB(A) or maximum mode for rapid heating and cooling.
Breeze mode: the Hybrid heater’s DBH system can also be activated if there is no cooling water, so without a heat pump. In Breeze mode the fans will run regardless of the water temperature in the radiator, helping circulate the air in a room, making it feel a little cooler.
Temperature control configuration (TPT)
In TPT configuration the DBH system will run once the water temperature is above set-point and the measured room temperature is below set-point, speeding up and slowing down to achieve the desired room temperature.
Building management system configuration (BMS)
In BMS configuration, DBH can be connected to an external controller to control the fan speed and changeover remotely.
Future-proof
Not ready yet for a heat pump? Strada Hybrid radiators also allow gas and oil boilers to operate at their lowest water temperature level, and therefore as efficiently as possible. This means you could start saving money on your energy bills straight away and your installation will be ready for a future without a boiler and CO2 emissions. You can switch over to an emission-free installation with a heat pump at any time without having to make any changes to the radiators, heat distribution or pipes.
Tip: Even existing Jaga Low-H2O radiators can easily be upgraded to the new Hybrid technology. The DBH fans fit almost all Jaga Low-H2O radiators including Strada, Tempo, Guardian, Maxi 2020, and Linea Plus. You will just need an electrical socket either fitted behind the casing or nearby to plug the DBH into.
