Net Zero Week: Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future

July 2025

From 05th – 11th July 2025, it is Net Zero Week, the UK’s official national awareness week dedicated to tackling climate change and accelerating the country’s goal to be net zero by 2050.

All conferences will be held online and will be free to attend, allowing access to a series of expert-led sessions and webinars covering key topics like energy, carbon reduction, transport, and sustainable infrastructure.

WHAT IS NET ZERO?

Net zero means balancing the amount of greenhouse gases emitted with the amount removed from the atmosphere, so the overall emissions are effectively reduced to zero. Achieving net zero is crucial for tackling climate change and limiting the global warming to 1.5°C.

The UK have committed to reaching net zero by 2050 to help protect the planet for future generations by reducing all CO2 emissions as much as possible through methods such as carbon capturing and planting trees.

OUR COMMITMENT TO A NET ZERO FUTURE

At Jaga, our journey toward net zero isn’t just about our products, but it’s also about how we operate, how we innovate, and the impact we want to have on people and planet.

For the past two years, we’ve proudly maintained our Carbon Neutral Business status, actively measuring, reducing, and offsetting our emissions in line with global best practices.

Kriekels House

Last year, we opened our state-of-the-art eco headquarters, Kriekels House, a physical reflection of our commitment to sustainability. The building is powered by renewable energy, equipped with advanced energy management systems, and designed with long-term efficiency in mind.

Our company car policy prioritises hybrid or electric vehicles wherever possible, supported by our on-site EV charging stations for staff and visitors. Our external sales team are field-based and meet customers all over the country, so this is a practical step to cut transport emissions and promote cleaner commuting.

Sustainability also shapes the smaller choices we make, like the materials we use to promote our brand. All company merchandise and promotional items are produced using responsibly sourced bamboo, which is fully recyclable and far less resource-intensive than plastic or conventional materials.

Most importantly, we continue to live by our mission: “rejuvenate our planet through eco-design”. It guides our product development, informs our business strategy, and inspires every team member to help build a future where comfort and climate responsibility go hand in hand.

HOW JAGA RADIATORS SUPPORT HOME DECARBONISATION

Designed with cutting-edge technology and sustainability in mind, our Briza Net Zero heat pump radiators offer an efficient and eco-conscious solution that supports home decarbonisation from the ground up.

At the heart of all Jaga units is the Low-H2O heat exchanger, which uses significantly less water than traditional radiators. This not only reduces energy consumption but also means faster startup and response times, so rooms heat up or cool down more quickly and react faster to changing temperatures, making for a more comfortable indoor environment.

Our units are lightweight and easy to install, making them ideal for homeowners and modern low-carbon heating systems, like heat pumps, which are essential to the UK’s transition away from fossil fuels.

Sustainability is built into the design. All Jaga radiators are made from recyclable materials, ensuring a lower carbon footprint throughout their lifecycle. And for homes where wall space is limited, or you want that minimalistic aesthetic, our slimmest Briza Net Zero heat pump radiator measures just 85mm deep, proving that high performance doesn’t have to come at the cost of style or space.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS NET ZERO WEEK

For companies like ours, who specialise in high-performance radiators that offer both heating and cooling, the direction is clear; smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable systems are the way forward.

During the week, Parliament and industry leaders will be exploring critical topics to ensure Britain’s energy is both secure and affordable. Discussions will include:

  • Retrofit for Net Zero and Frameworks for Social Impact
  • Why Sustainability Still Drives Value in an Increasingly Uncertain World
  • Community Engagement and Net Zero
  • How Net Zero Plans are Rewriting Trade Rules
  • Addressing Skills Shortages and Certification Challenges in Construction

These conversations are helping to shape the future of energy-efficient homes, buildings, and supply chains.
